Designing Your Perfect Lighting Solution

Modern LEDs often differ from older halogen lights in brightness, colour, and coverage. To ensure you’re happy, we listen to your requirements and can design a custom solution to achieve the perfect result.

During installation, we perform an initial setup of any sensors. For perfect results, this often requires testing after dark. We leave instructions so you can fine-tune settings yourself (which may require a ladder). Alternatively, we can supply fittings with a remote control or schedule a night-time visit for an additional cost.

Our Transparent Warranty Policy

Due to widespread industry issues with premature failures, we cannot provide our own warranty on the LED fittings themselves. However, we always guarantee our workmanship, and we will support you in claiming the manufacturer’s warranty if a product fails. We request that all failures are reported to us, as we use this feedback to shape our approach to sourcing good-quality products.

What types of floodlights do you install?
We specialize in installing high-quality, integrated LED floodlights from reputable brands. Our focus is on durability and performance to ensure your outdoor lighting is reliable. Can you replace my old halogen floodlight?
Absolutely. This is one of our most common jobs. We’ll safely disconnect and remove your old, inefficient halogen fitting and replace it with a modern, energy-saving LED equivalent. We’ll also ensure the new light provides the best possible coverage for your needs.
How long does a typical installation take?
A straightforward replacement of an existing floodlight usually takes around 1-2 hours. A brand new installation where we need to run a new power supply will take longer, typically half a day. We will provide a more accurate time estimate with your quote.
Can I supply my own floodlight?
Yes, we are happy to install a floodlight that you have purchased yourself. Please be aware that while our workmanship is always guaranteed, the warranty for the product itself would be your responsibility to manage with the manufacturer or retailer where you bought it.
Does my floodlight need to be on an RCD protected circuit?
Yes, for safety and compliance with current wiring regulations, all new outdoor lighting circuits must have RCD (Residual Current Device) protection. If your existing circuit doesn’t have this, we will need to upgrade it at the consumer unit. We will assess this and include it in your estimate if required.
